I went looking for something better. Then I decided to build it
Hi, I'm Maureen — mom of two energetic, curious girls who inspire everything I do.
For years, periods meant pads or tampons — and neither felt great. Tampons meant constant changing, the anxiety of forgetting one in, and discomfort I'd just accepted as normal. Pads were noisy, crinkly, uncomfortable against your skin, and somehow always ruined a good pair of underwear.
Then I discovered period underwear. The concept clicked immediately. Comfortable, reusable, no waste. I tried a top brand and liked it — but it didn't fully deliver on the thing that mattered most: real, reliable protection.
"I didn't want a backup. I wanted something I could actually count on."
So I spent months testing fabrics and designs until I found combinations I relied on completely — every cycle, without a second thought. That became Cheeki.
